Electronic ATF prints are captured digitally on certified equipment and delivered in ATF-ready electronic format — with far fewer rejections for print quality, and no ink, mailing, or lost cards. Ink FD-258 cards have to be mailed in and you wait, with a real risk of rejection for smudging or overfilled prints. A rejected ink card can add months to your NFA timeline, since each responsible person's card has to be handled and potentially redone separately.
