We name the organizations below only as local reference points. They are not affiliated with Midwest Identity Services, and the requirement for any role is always set by the licensing board, agency or employer, so check your own instructions before you book.
Hospitals, clinics and senior care
Raymore’s healthcare workers commute in several directions: west to Belton Regional Medical Center, south to Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville, and north to Saint Luke’s East Hospital and Lee’s Summit Medical Center. In town, Foxwood Springs and Compass Health Network employ nurses, aides, counselors and support staff. Licensed staff in these settings often need fingerprints for their license rather than the job itself. Nurses licensing with the Kansas State Board of Nursing submit a fingerprint card, which we roll; Missouri licensing boards generally route fingerprints through MACHS and IdentoGO, so Missouri residents licensing in Missouri should follow the board’s instructions. Many home health and senior care roles start with Missouri’s name-based Family Care Safety Registry rather than fingerprints. Our healthcare fingerprinting page covers the common boards.
Schools and colleges
The Raymore-Peculiar R-II School District runs schools across Raymore and Peculiar, with Ray-Pec High School just south of town. Its teachers, substitutes and coaches need a Missouri DESE background check for certification. Missouri residents complete it electronically at an IdentoGO location through MACHS, not with us. Educators who live in Kansas or another state can choose MACHS card processing, and we roll the FD-258 card they mail with their confirmation page. Raymore students heading into nursing or allied health programs at area colleges, such as Metropolitan Community College, often need prints for clinical placements or out-of-state licensing; see nursing student fingerprinting.
Employers and business areas
The Nuuly fulfillment center, run by URBN, is Raymore’s largest employer, and the city’s other major employers include the school district, Foxwood Springs, the City of Raymore and the retailers along the Foxwood Drive and MO-58 corridor. For warehouse and retail hiring, the usual needs are employment screening and drug testing. Contractors who service client sites may also need vendor and contractor access screening or federal contractor fingerprints.
