Home Health & Caregiver Fingerprinting

Many home health and caregiver roles in Missouri and Kansas start with a name-based state check, not fingerprints. Fingerprints come in when an employer, an out-of-state agency or a specific program asks for them. Here is how to tell which applies to you, and where we can help.

How Missouri’s fingerprint-card option works

Missouri runs its fingerprint checks through the Missouri Automated Criminal History Site (MACHS) and its state vendor, IdentoGO. Applicants who live outside Missouri, or who are physically unable to visit an IdentoGO site, can choose card processing instead: register in MACHS with the agency’s registration number, pay for the card service, then mail the confirmation page and a fully rolled FD-258 card to IdentoGO. The IdentoGO card scan instructions accept cards rolled by any fingerprinting provider, including Live Scan prints printed to an FD-258.
