What is the difference between Live Scan and FD-258 ink fingerprints?
Live Scan captures digital fingerprints and submits them electronically, faster, no ink. FD-258 forms are traditional physical ink fingerprints on paper. Many state licensing boards, the ATF and some out-of-state agencies still require the physical fingerprints. If you are not sure which one your agency needs, compare the methods or call us and we will confirm.
How fast do FBI results come back?
FBI Identity History Summary results are often returned within 24–72 hours of electronic submission. Timing is set by the FBI and can be longer.
