Start from what you already know

Your profession, the state asking for prints, the question on your mind, or the type of application. Each path ends at the service that fits.

Questions we hear every week

In your words

These are the questions people bring to our counter. Each one leads to the answer, or to the service that solves it.

Healthcare

“I’m a nurse applying for a license in another state. Where do I get fingerprinted?”

What boards usually ask for, and how to cover more than one state.

Requirement review

“My nursing board sent me this. What fingerprints do I need?”

Send us the letter or instructions and we will tell you what to book.

Requirement review

“My employer told me to bring this form. What should I book?”

Share the form and we will match it to the right service before you arrive.

ORI numbers

“Florida gave me an ORI number. What does it mean?”

What an ORI identifies, and why it decides how your prints are submitted.

Multi-state

“Texas wants two fingerprint cards. Can you print both from one capture?”

How print-to-card works, and when an agency permits it.

Security companies

“Our installers need licensing in Missouri, Kansas, Texas and Florida. Can one appointment cover it?”

Planning one session for a crew licensed in several states.

ATF

“I need fingerprints for an ATF eForm. Do I need an EFT file or cards?”

Which format each ATF filing takes.

Executives

“Can our executives get FBI fingerprints at our office?”

On-site FBI Identity History Summary fingerprinting for leadership teams.

Universities

“Our graduating nursing class needs fingerprints. Can you do the whole cohort on campus?”

How a campus session runs, from roster to cards.

Rejections

“My licensing board rejected my fingerprints. What should I bring to my new appointment?”

What to bring so the second submission goes through.

Requirements FAQ

Can’t find your situation? Call (816) 442-0295.

What should I send for a requirement review?

Whatever the requesting agency, board or employer gave you: the instruction sheet or letter, any ORI number or reason code, application requirements and any cards they supplied. A photo or screenshot is fine.

Can you guarantee my agency will accept my fingerprints?

No one can promise that on an agency’s behalf, because the receiving agency controls final acceptance. What we can do is check your instructions before your appointment, capture high-quality prints and prepare them in the format the agency asks for.

Do all states accept the same fingerprint card or submission method?

No. Some accept FD-258 cards, some require their own card, and some require Live Scan or a state-specific electronic submission. That is why we review each state’s instructions before multi-state appointments.

How current is this information?

Each guide shows the date it was last reviewed. Agencies change their rules, so if your instructions differ from what you read here, follow your instructions and let us know.
